Datenschutz

For review before publication. The controller’s name, address, phone and email are the ones published on meetthegoodones.de. The rest of this notice describes this site only. The old policy mentions netcup hosting, Usercentrics, Typeform and analytics. None of those are used here, so they are not repeated. Have a lawyer read this before launch. An English text is provided because the site is English first; a German legal text should follow.

2. Hosting

This site is built to be hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, and Cloudflare Germany GmbH). The host processes technical data, including IP address, date, requested URL and browser data, in server logs, to deliver the site securely. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Cloudflare participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

3. What this site does not do

We do not run a cookie banner, analytics, advertising pixels, or a contact form that stores what you type. Fonts are files on this site, not a request to Google. A private offer, once you open it with the name and password you were given, sets one cookie so the same browser can show that offer again. The cookie holds no price list. It expires after 30 days, or when you press Lock. The configurator then downloads the price table. It does not send your configuration to us until you choose to open an email.

A flag in your browser’s session storage remembers that the home-page intro has played, so it is shorter on the next visit in the same session. That flag stays on your device.

4. Email

If you write to info@meetthegoodones.de, or if the contact page opens your mail app with a draft, the message is delivered by your email provider to ours. We use it to answer and, if we work together, to carry out the contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). We delete it when the conversation and any statutory retention are over.

5. Videos

Films stay as posters until you press play. A click then loads a player from YouTube (Google) or from Cloudflare Stream. Those providers receive your IP address and may set their own cookies. YouTube embeds use the youtube-nocookie.com domain. Legal basis for the embed, once you ask for it: Art. 6 (1) (a) or (b) GDPR, depending on whether you are browsing or asking for a quote. Hover previews of Cloudflare Stream films, on a desktop with a fine pointer, also request a short muted stream from Cloudflare. They do not run if you have asked the system to reduce motion.

6. Your rights

You can ask what personal data we hold, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR), and receive data you provided in a portable format where the law gives you that right. You can complain to the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).

7. Unsolicited mail

We object to the use of the address in the Impressum for advertising we did not ask for.
